Parents that DO pay but where is the money?

Myself and my ex husband have three children. Two live with me and one lives with him. I pay the CSA for our middle son and my ex pays the CSA for our eldest son and young daughter. Although I do not speak to my ex husband I know for a fact he pays every week and I pay once a month. The time it takes for these payments to filter through however is RIDICULOUS. Where does the money go? Is it gathering interest somewhere. My money goes in every monday but for the past three weeks NOTHING.

Obviously I’ve phoned them but the fobbing off and the usual “computer problems” stories are too much to bear.

I pay my ex £26 per week and he pays me £42. Seriously considering throwing the towel in and cutting my losses just so I don’t have to spend the next 9 years arguing the toss with this shower of sh** organisation. It really is soul destroying every time you have to ring them.

  1. The WHOLE system is a shambles and the more than useless staff make matters ten times worse.

Time for a rethink and to get rid of this ‘not fit for purpose’ disgrace!

  2. Why not tell the CSA to go away and make your owen arrangements! What a waste of mopney having the CSA passing money back and forth. If you really can’t speak then email, txt or facebook!

  3. I did used to have a direct debit arrangement set up with my ex-husband but he would stop and start payments when he saw fit. I haven’t spoken to him for nearly 4 years and am not about to start now! All I ever get from him is abuse and I’d rather go without the money which is now an option I am seriously considering.

  4. I had a similar problem paying my ex. They used to pay her monthly on time, until they decided I paid too much over three months and the needed to rectify it. Neither of us had a problem but somehow they ended up paying her in odd amounts weekly even though I paid monthly. Sometimes she would get nothing, sometimes a fiver here and there – once she even got thirty quid but not once did she ever get near the £100+ I paid each month.
I tried to call them to find out where it went but it was like talking to a brick wall, after hours of phone calls all i could get out of them was the payment schedule that looked nothing like what they were doing!
