My son’s ex has taken his son 200 miles away – what can he do?
I’m looking for help. My sons partner left him and took their four year old son 200 miles away. Now he has his son once every two weeks. He has just recieved a letter from her solicitor saying he is not to ring him three times a day. Now he can only ring once in the evening and also has to return him by six pm. Is this legal? I thought it had to go through the courts. He pays her what the solicitor said; he’s done nothing wrong.
Any help would be great, thankyou. Please could you let me know

This may seem a bit brutal, but is the best advice you will ever receive….Tell your son to forget about the Child and move abroad somewhere, r with the aggression and harassment he will be receiving soon from his ex and the SCUM at the CSA, he will either be on the point of, or actually have a nervous breakdown, sorry, I know you will not wish to hear the above, but it is the best advice
its easier to come to a mutal agreement but if that’s not working you can go to court if they weren’t married then he wont automatically have parental responsibility that’s the starting point get that by applying to the court or he has no rights and she could in theory move abroad etc. If they cant agree to contact etc then the only other option is court which can be expensive if a solicitor is used and can take some time. Yes its completely legal as she will be the person responsible for the childs day to day care etc. Go to CAB if he hasn’t go to a solicitor they may be able to advise better
