I would imagine that you would still have to pay when he is living with his mum. If he is now been taken into temp care then you should contact csa amd tell them that your trying to get him to live with you. If you do get him into your care then male sure you apply for child benefit as well. All the best xx
if your son is not living with his mother then she is not entitled to any money from you as she does not care for him
Hi, csa has to be paid to the parent with care as long as she is claimingchild benefit. As far as I’m aware, if the child is in care, then the pwc should not e claiming child benefit as the child is not in her care. I think any arrears tht are owed on the case will still have to be paid but u shouldn’t be paying regular maintenance
You would have to prove to the scum (CSA) how long your child had been in care, but i would be making a complaint regarding them taking payments, your ex shouldnt be in receipt of child benefit unless the child is going back to her? Though she should definitly not be getting CSA from you, the CSA probably wont believe you, you will have to really push for this to be investigated, they always take the word of the mother even if she lies
yes indeed, you will have to do all the ground work, the csa scum will not bother investigating ANYTHING on your behalf, why would they…after all its YOU they bleed for cash not your ex, its simple logic, why would they look into it for you if it means they may have to stop legally robbing you. £185 per week seems a hell of a lot of cash for 1 child unless you have arrears slapped on top ? which they will still collect. Get onto the DWP and insist they check into any claims she may have with them, despite the csa being part of the DWP, they conveniently will tell you its not their job to investigate poss benefit fraud, very convenient don’t you think. write to your mp as well explaining everything email him/her. send a letter of complaint to the csa and email it as well, record deliver ALL mail to them and your mp.NEVER call the csa,it cost you even more money on the number they provide, they will bullshit you and lie to you, they will tell you they will call back,9 times out of 10 they will not, they will shove you from pillar to post and at the end of the call you will just be back to square one. Don’t bother calling them, have a paper trail and email trail. Also demand all your data files from them,it will cost you a tenner but worth it I hear. Remember, involve any one and every route by email and letter that you can. its the only way to try and get a result from this filth.
good luck
