Yet another case of the csa letting the system down again. Ring your local mp and make appointment to see him/her. Write to csa complaints department expressing your complaint and give them 28 days to reply. This isn’t a quick fix. At best if you keep complaining it could be sorted within 3 months.
RT @CSAHell: My son lives with me but his father is claiming money – how is this fair?: Hello …. My son is 17 – 18 … http://t.co/6aXmf0…
CSa automatically goes to whomever received child benefit for the child. If he now resides with you then you shouldn’t still be paying
Phone up child benefit and ask whether your ex is still in receipt of it and tell them you want to claim it now as he lives with you not your ex, they will stop his money til they investigate

Correct advice from Karen Todd – no pont in complaining to the CSA, they wont do a thing even if they say they will
wow it is correct that the payments go to whoever get the child benefit. so heres a negotiation point he commits benefit fraud right there. I will also suggest that you contact the CSA and seek the money owed back. I have read some dirty tricks in my time but that does take the piss
