CSA a joke, my partners oldest daughter has changed college courses that many times she is not interested in them but her mother keeps making her do them so she gets the higher rate of maintenance.
This keeps the payments going for three of them, his ex does not give the kids the money and spends her time shopping and buying herself expensive clothes and handbags, etc, he has not seen his children because she poisoned them against him with pure lies.
He walked out after her affair and left her with a £200,000 house and when I met him almost a year later he had nothing, we have spent the past 7 years to build up things and only now are getting on our feet properly.
I do not object to him paying for his children but what I do object to is the CSA do not take into consideration any expenses you have keep your home travel to work to make the money that she holds her scrounging hands out for.
I would not object so much if they at least took into account your rent and council tax it would be something but absolutely nothing he gets his wages and then she gets her £400 a month bang just like that.
I cannot believe that the amount of men that are being treated like this have not stood up, manned up, all go together and signed petitions to get this sorted once and for all, the CSA have got away with ruining people’s lives for too long and this new thing that is coming out Options can only make it worse COME ON MEN ALL GET TOGETHER and do what the do in America be a nation that sticks up for itself.

Sounds familiar. My daughter 18 this year an when shes not at the 12 hours a week colledge she works, but I still have to pay her mum nearly £300 a month till she is 19!! for what exactly??????!!! CSA ARE A JOKE!

Yes it’s disgusting I know. Your partners situation mirrors mine apart from the fact, I booted her arse out of my house after discovering her cyberwhoring with a German guy and arranging to meet him for a dirty wk end, and we had only been married for 9 months lol….says a lot don’t it? I was sure the bitch had planned to try cleaning me out by marrying me? My house. Not yours bitch. Anyway, I’m bled for £ 300 a month by the CSA and it makes my blood boil to think she is spending it on herself and the twat living with her. We are not allowed to know or ask how or who or what our money is spent on…it’s all fucking wrong and obscene. And yes, the CSA don’t give a shit about your outgoings, none of it is relevant….we have no outgoings as far as the CSA is concerned.
CSA is being phased out now and CMS is being phased in, 1st 50 thousand letters went out last week. I understand NRP’s will be assessed on gross income not net and minus any pension contributions ( so up those payments guys) . And it will be 12% for 1 child. Beware…..if a private payment arrangement cannot be made under the new system, then the CSA will levy a charge of 20% for the Nrp per month and deduct 4% from the pwc if they have to step in to enforce payment.
I did read that both parents have to agree to a private arrangement other wise both will be charged? Which is bollocks because why bother asking the Nrp if he has to still pay the fee even if he is in agreement to pay privately but the mother don’t like it.
Any one please clarify for me please. I understood the parent being obstructive would be the 1 that pays the charge only?

I think once on the new system (CS3), if the payer says they will pay directly then it will be so until a default position proved.
If regular payment by standing order or direct debit can be proven then the receiver has no grounds for complaint and risks losing 4% of the maintence if they do.
Of course they payer stands to pay an extra 20% of of the maintenance amount if they pay through the Child Maintenance Service.
Make sure all direct debits or standing orders are referenced “child maintenance”.

Hang on a min how the hell can they take it from your gross earnings they have to take into consideration tax and national insurance otherwise you are loosing more money surely we have to pay tax you should only have to have your net income taken this is getting beyond a joke now, surely there is a way to get 100,000 male signatures and march this to the house of commons or something this has been going on long enough men and new partners etc. living on the breadline while their ex are living in luxury, if they start taking more off my hubbie then they can bugger off because I will make him stop work and that will bugger her up completely and he will if we have to pay one more penny extra, has anyone ever challenged the CSA in large numbers surely it will work or have some kind of impact and I am sure there are way more than 100,000 men out their in the same boat, and it is shocking that if she re marries which she has done and her new hubbie is even a millionaire men still have to pay, bloody disgrace, if you take on a family then you take them on end of, and why can we not pay the money into a bank account and it get released when the kids leave school at least we know it is going to the children then and not the ex to go out and get drunk on or whatever else she gets up to it a load of rubbish and then you have the other side like my ex who is self employed and the CSA have been trying to get him for 9 years and nothing because they find it easier to sit on their fat arses and pick on the PAYE people instead of the ones that are making a fortune. Just boils my blood.
Oh and another thing I will up my hubbie’s pension to £1,000 a month if I have to to stop her getting anymore £45,000 plus she has has off us since I met him and she is not getting anymore at least with a huge pension we can enjoy it in a few years time and she can do one.
Spot on post, i have sent petitions round, rallied other CSA payers, but nobody will do anything on a large scale. We should be more like the French…but we moan and do eff all. Of course it’s a disgrace and the NEW so-called CSE system must be illegal. GROSS EARNING TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT?

The new system is based on gross income, not net. Now happy for someone to tell me I’m wrong? This is what I have read and heard by others.
It then assesses you 12% for 1 child and 15% for 2 and so on.
Be careful about how much you pay into your pension because if the agency see it as over inflated to avoid CM payments? They will step in. Again this is what I have picked up over the last few months

CS3, gross income from HMRC less pension contributions.
12% one child, 16% two children and 19% for three or more children.
They’ve lowered the percentage rates because tax and national insurance will not be deducted.
They’ve introduced charges to reduce administration and their costs.
Always best to come to a private arrangement if you can.

This shithouse knew she was newly married with 2 young daughters but he made no effort to put an end to the affair or step back from it. Infact he went the extra mile to make sure she left me. The arshole made regular flights to uk to see her.
In my book, if a guy goes out of his way to take another mans wife and kids? Then he should take on responsibility to look after their needs inc feeding and clothing and keeping a roof over their head. It should be my right and perogative as the victim of having his kids taken from him, so spend my money on his kids how he sees fit and how much. Instead the Nrp has salt rubbed in the wound by now not only having his kids taken away from him but expected to pay for the privilege….lol…wrong wrong wrong.

It is great to see all these people that are on our side but sad that you are all having to go through the same thing as we are, so what about this march and I mean on a huge scale, how do we get hold of every person in the UK that is being ripped off and get the system changed, even if it is just to take living into consideration, I would be happy if Rent/Mortgages and Council Tax were at least taken off and what is left the NRP gets a percentage of that, surely that has to be fair enough instead of people struggling to make ends meet, the resident parent does not have that problem they still get their tax credits, new partner/hubbies wages etc living in gods pocket come on CSA at least give us all the chance to pay our main bill which is keeping a roof over our heads, someone tell me how to get these men together and get this ball rolling and I will do all the work because I am absolutely sick of the way men are treated. Oh and for those women who read this and think I am being unfair, I am actually on both ends, the CSA have been trying to get my ex to pay for 8 years and not a penny because he is self employed and they cannot get him but if there is one thing that I do not believe in and that is making a man pay for his kids when it is putting him on the breadline because it would not be happening if the parents were still together they would be sharing the bills and as I see it the amount the CSA take off my hubbie I would be cheaper having his kids living with me COME ON PEOPLE lets get the ball rolling show these people that we are not going to lie down and take this any longer we are strong and we are going to start fighting this.
