My ex told my son that I was dead

Hiya,

Ive 2 children by 2 diff mothers , one mother i have a good relationship with which i pay through standing order , and the other left the country when we split up when the child was 2 , hes now 10 only found out they were back in the country when the csa letter arrived 🙁

Now ive no quarms paying aslong as its all correct and the ammounts are correct. i earn 300 a week on average ive used your calculator it comes out 42.86 yet the csa have said its 61.00 , anyway i can question this ?? also there wanting me to do a application for the mother who i pay direct to but there confusing me with seperate applications and wanting my wage slips yet they had them through work 3 weeks ago. i feel lost with them, ive spoke to like 6 different people there , how can £61 be arrived at?

I have my daughter 3 nights a week but my son who ive not seen in 8 years she wont let me see him as she said it may affect how much she gets , id love to see him but im getting threatened with police etc… ive heard from her own sister she told him i was dead 🙁 hope i’ve given enough info for as little or as much help u can give.

thanks dean 🙂

  1. DeanMldd0,

The mother you pay via standing order, is that case through the CSA or a private arrangement?

If it’s through the CSA; have you entered all your income in the calculator, ie working tax credits etc OR has there been a delay between the CSA informing you of your second case and the calculation being completed that may have caused arrears outstanding on your account ?

If it’s not through the CSA; you may need to have both cases dealt with via the agency to have the amount for your other child taken into account.

  2. Jesus how low can a woman stoop to keep a father away from his child by claiming he is dead!!!!! , personally i would offer payments privatley away from CSA, anybody that uses them knowing they dont care about families is crazy,
