It is a massive breach of policy for a CSA staff member to encouraged a PWC to close down and reopen a case 12 weeks after, Since your probably getting disability benefits for your child also this might be why your not getting as much from your ex, Unfortunatly getting dragged into the world of the CSA isnt doing you or your child any favours, best thing contact your ex and make a private arrangement, best thing is probably the fact that your ex doesnt owe anything and the arraers are ficticous, belive nothing the CSA tell you its all lies as your going to find out later down the line

3. £10 a week…… what a ridiculous amount……I hope the father provides in other ways at least as this is an insult to your son really….. you don’t need to close your case, rather, csa needs to do their job. Write to the manager and pursue this, nothing justifies weeks and months of waiting as you already have a claim; there is no need to make a new one, they are telling you nonsense. Best wishes.

4. Well said Lisa!!! The CSA are absolutely useless and do much more harm than good!!! The idiots who work for them should be lined up and shot for the trouble they cause!! And now we have them on here touting for business!!!

   @ Melinda, we would all like to think that the NRP pays more but maybe he too is on benefits… £10 a week was better than what she gets now.

   I’d suggest the author see if there are any other benefit out there to help her bring up her child and as Lisa says, come to a private arrangement with her ex as the CSA will cause her more upset than than anything else!!

5. Yet again, people trying to discourage people to get the support needed for their child. Please join the facebook groups child support agencies failings, as if you listen to some of this lot you will probably believe that no child should be supported by both parents – which they should and its cos they dont want to pay cos they too selfish to and shouldnt be allowed to have children in the first place.

   The fact is that the author went to the CSA and they let her down (like thousands and thousands of other PWC AND NRPs) but she NEEDS money NOW so rather than rely ONLY on the CSA she should see if there s other help out there for her and her child!!!

   Not all NRPs are bad, just the same as not all PWCs are decent and honest!!!

Karen its not about spite, its about the CSA treating us like human beings, you have been there and done it, you got special payments for the grief you been through, so why come here still and call people (YOUR A DISGRACE MEAN ANYTHING) , we are human beings and deserve to be treated as so, the CSA think they are above the law, things have to change and all children regardless of which side they come from deserve not to live in poverty, its wrong that an.NRP family on.low income deserve to be stripped of money given to them ie tax credits, the whole system is wrong, if people cant handle the truth why comment here,
