Well, from what you have written, you seem to have stated something quite interesting “my” son, and not “our” son, get off your lazy ass and get a full time job, stop being a leach
Suggest you contact the CSA and get a DNA test ordered. If the result comes back as positive and he is the father, then regardless and whether he’s on the birth certificate or now, DNA will show that he is the biological father and therefore is responsible for payments.
Try explaining to him that 30£ isn’t enough and see if you can negotiate with him! Once the csa get involved there is usually only one outcome! That they will leave him broke and what usually happens is that the father doesnt have any money to take his children out or even to collect them and its leads to resentment and who sufffers the most? The children!!!!
U get no benefits not even child benefit witch everyone with a child gets unless you earn more then £65000 from your part time job you should also be entitled to child tax and working tax if u work more then 16 hours a week so that would help with the costs as your ex has a right to a life too
So basically he isn’t good enough to have his name on the birth cirtificate but you want is money
csa requests 15% of his net income if am right…. if this is to be £30 a week in his case, then that’s all he can provide.
Are you receiving all that you’re entitled too?
Personally I would steer clear of the csa, they’re more hassle than they are worth, I’m a pwc who has received nothing from my ex for two children….plus with all the other horror stories you read on here!
If you are amicable with your ex have a word with him, it could be that 30.00 is all he can afford…more than what most pwcs get with more than one child, some only getting 5.00…also see if he can do more to help, sometimes just being there is worth more than just money.
If you work partime you shud be getting some benifits n you certainly will be getting child benifit. Think 30 sounds fair for one child
wot you want, blood?. be good you have £30 off him. that is a father helping out his kid.. i think £30 is about the right amount…want more?then work more. he has a life to you know..
How we go again about the idiots in life like Andrew Jones and Peter Brown.
Join the facebook group Child Support Agencies Failings where you wont get abused or bullied or called names but will get some advice and support. Good luck.
@karen….why are they idiots? Its an open forum and everyone has a right to an opinion.
If csa or their calculator say that’s all the nrp needs to pay then what’s the issue? Least its some contribution to the childs upbringing.
Some pwcs get nothing, I’m one of them, and truthfully do not care as I have the joy of my children!
