My ex only decided to get a job when our son turned 18

My ex would not allow me to see my son. She was not working, claiming every benefit going! when my son was 18 she decided to get a job!

My CSA has been taken as an AOE ranging from £123 per week to £89 per week due to “arrears”. I paid her cash for a long period, but as I didnt have any proof, couldnt contest her claim!

I have now paid over £52000 (after tax) by AOE to the CSA only to be told that she can now have ALL the money due to changes in the benefit rules ie any single parent claiming benefit can have all their CSA with any deduction from their state benefit!!

SURELY THIS IS NOT WHAT THE CSA WAS SET UP FOR – IT WAS TO to get money from fathers to pay back to the state when the mothers were claiming and being paid via the state.Not for the single parent mothers to use the CSA as a free solicitor to get their money for them AND GET THIS ON TOP OF THEIR STATE BENEFITS – IT IS ALL SO WRONG!!
