My 25 year old moved out of my ex’s when he was 17, why am I still paying her?

This is a letter that I am sending to my local MP:

Dear Sir

I am writing to you to ask if you could help me reduce, extend the time period or cease my payments to the CSA. My ex-wife left me took the children and divorced me because of financial problems and to live with another man in Birmingham the CSA took over a year to start taking money straight from my wage so I was in debt straight away.£70 was not a lot to live on even 18 years ago. My youngest who is 23 lives with me and has done for six years before that he lived with my parents for 4 years my eldest who is 25 moved out of his mothers when he was 17 and I am still having £195 taken from my wage every month. I do not think that this is fair that she is getting money to keep them when she does not look after them. I would be willing to take this to court and settle it the old fashioned way in front of a magistrate as was done before the CSA was formed. I was not an absent parent by choice I was forced into being one.My present wifes wage is not to be included in calculations of CSA payments I have been informed by the CAB. I enclose a hand written note of my household expenses…
