Money deducted for arrears every few months
I have split with my ex girlfriend for 3 years now, shes proper awful, stops my access untill I bow down to what new arrangements she wants or I dond see my daughter, I am supposed to see my daughter 6 days a month, on my wage I was paying £140 a month maintenance, but every few months money gets decuted for arrears, then an increase in maintenance to £170 a month because the csa said theres more days in certain months. I mean I travel to collect my daughter, csa are supposed to take that into consideration, but there sarky response is so unprofessional, they are rude and they talk to you like that they are a child behind a desk. customer service skills, yeah right!!!
So I stopped paying because they are taking more than 15% and arrears, for what I have had no indication where these arrears are from, they just throw a bunch of numbers and dates at you and if you dont pay what they want you to pay they threaten you with a huge fine and jail sentence.
This whole legal csa government has gone corrupt, gready and definately out to screw over the dads that actually give a shit and want to be in their daughters life, they want to make ends meet and pay the right amount, not pay more here and more there for no reason, because the money I pay, my ex does not get the full amount, the csa take a percentage, thats really thinking about the children isant csa???

This isnt the csa its an open forum so don’t give names/details etc especially of children.
Don’t deal with the csa by phone, everything in writing, sent recorded, keep the receipts.
Copy your MP into everything and try and get them involved as your advocate.
Make a formal complaint about any decision you are unhappy with from the outset as time limits are involved. Always go for an appeal tribunal asap following the internal process.
Get a copy of your Data Protection prints from the outset so you know what you are dealing with, again follow the correct procedure in wording your request to get ALL information, send it to the right department, send the correct fee.
Don’t be afraid to complain about any csa staff, or their superiors if you feel you have just cause.
Remember the process, internal complaint, ‘independent’ case examiner (the csa protection department), appeals tribunal, parliamentry and health service ombudsman through your mp for maladministration.
