Might I get caught out by the new CSA changes?
I haven’t updated my salary for over 5 years, i have had only 2 pay rises in that time. (Probably more than 5% difference now than my old salary).
When the change from CSA2 to CSA3 comes, will i get arrears from past pay rises not declared? As i understand the CMS will use HMRC data which will show my pay increases.
I have never asked for an assessment and the PWC as never instigated one either.
I give more money overall than the calculation anyway, but that does not mean CMS will come knocking and generate arrears for any reason they can.
Any help will be great.

I would tell them now before it changes. Just give them your new salary from the 2nd change. Also work it out yourself. 15% for 1 child
Or go self employed

I think you will get caught so change it while you can, the longer you leave it the more you will owe
Iv done it for u. U know owe 1.2 million in arrears. I used the same method to calculate it as the csa use its called AINT GOTA CLUE MAKE IT UP METHOD.
They will only change the maintenance from the date the change is reported so if you ask today it will change from today.
If you wait until they initiate the change it will be some time in the future ( who knows when?) and they can not backdate arrears prior to that date.
The new rate will be 12% of gross (less pension payments) for 1 QC.
Leave it be..
Don’t do their job, you have 2yrs In which to pay any arrears if you owe any.
