She doesnt need to find you or contact you if the CSA are involved, thats their job am afraid, not your ex’s, CSA will just get your details direct from HMRC if you stop paying and slap a deduction of earnings order on your salary, CSA have total control over your finances.
Its very sad you dont get to see your child, but the law is firmly on the side of the PWC and if she makes contact difficult or impossible, as many PWC’s do, then there is absolutely nothing you can do about it – unless you have a spare 10k to fight her in a family court.
Sadly as Karen said.
The csa don’t give a flying fuck about the dad seeing his kids, as long as it keeps bleeding him for cash each month that’s all that matters.
You have no control on what and if you pay….IF the csa have you in their claws.
My advise is leave the country, go self employed or give up work.
Maybe then the bitch of an ex will sit up and talk to you when she gets no money or £5 a week out of your jsa
Good luck
Gonk
That would not work to get contact. Even spending thousands in court doesn’t if the PWC is so hell bent on you not. I feel for you.x
Hi,
Sound advice from Gonk (Dec 2nd 2014 1811hrs).
I have had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with the CSA since it began in 1992. Don’t trust them or contact them unless you have to and that has always got to be recorded delivery.
As far as contact is concerned, I wish you all the best. I worshipped my 2 daughters but contact was first made awkward, second made very difficult and finally made impossible.by the PWC. The kids were also poisoned against me. Be prepared to accept you might never see/speak with them again. It’s hard but you have to face facts.
I took the option of leaving the country because I was finding it hard to find work. And when I did find work the CSA would fuck it up to the point where I couldn’t afford to live. The usual things ; Mysterious underpayment they couldn’t explain, wouldn’t deduct 4 years I told them about when I wasn’t working as a Cat A assessment, didn’t assess me correctly based on my earnings etc etc , Christ, I could write a book bigger than War and Peace just about the CSA’s incompetence.
Now, I no longer have to worry about them. You must remember that the CSA pretends to be a Government department when, infact, it is nothing more than a QUANGO. They are target driven & focused on quantity not quality. The whole system is skewed in favour of the PWC. My ex was getting benefits, money from me, my parents, and she had a chap living with her who was earning good money. There’s no fairness in it so don’t look for it.
I hope you can re-establish contact because I know what it feels like. There’s not a day, minute, second, that goes by when I don’t miss my two.
