Let me make this clear…
Lets me make this clear for you all,
If you are a couple and 1 of you has to pay child support to an ex then if the person liable for CSA works and is the sole bread winner all of his income plus any WTC you get is taken into account – If you both work the all of his income and half the WTC is taken into account.
If Just YOU work and the liable parent doesn’t, NONE of your income or WTC is counted as YOU are the bread winner and the child is not your responsibility.
I hope that clears things up for anyone

they dont just take yr working tax we dont get it they take the child family credit aswell ALL OF IT we are having to pay them with our daughters money we dont get working tax
Well said to the OP why should a woman support kids that are not hers, these pwc who think the whole world owes them need to get a grip, it’s about time the CSA realised people are getting wise to the crap idea of being robbed every month if the pwc is on benefits she shouldn’t be entitled to anything, she should be forced to get a job before entitled to anything, yet again the nrp is left penniless, I don’t blame any nrp for leaving his job to avoid CSA
You can also get money taken off for travel to see your child which I’m going to sort out soon as the csa never told me that I could have some of my money back for access.
yep I had to pay , taking my wages plus all our child tax credits into account , not working tax credits , we don’t get them !
All of your income” does it include your wages working tax credit and child tax credit if you have kids with new partner or just your wage plus working tax credit?
For example I am the nrp I was not working new partner was, we have children of our own together so they decided to count my child tax credit as my income, meaning I had to pay 26 a week out of my other kids money cos it was over a hundred a week child tax credit, lets say I was to get a job where I only earnes 50 pound a week, does that mean they use just that as my income and then I’d only pay five pound a week and keep my children’s tax credits or would they still include the child tax cred
