Late payments from the CSA
My ex has a payment order on his wages so my money should be into my post office account pretty regularly. The past few months I have had a 3 week delay, then after that a 2 week delay in payments and now this week my payment is late. I rang on 29th June 2011 to be told that the payment had left last Saturday and should be with me that day or 30th June. No sign of it. So I rang again to be told “oh the computer says its not now leaving until today or so and will probably be with you on 3rd July”. (A Sunday…..). Why are my payments delayed when the money is clearly in the account waiting to be sent to me????? I have 2 kids at home and they are young. I, through no fault of my own, am temporarily out of work so have no funds, and no family at all to help me when I cant afford to feed my kids.
An answer would be appreciated as I am going out of my mind and trying to find someone of authority who can answer my query as I am not getting good enough answers over the phone.

Ok Liz, I had this problem too, that on their system it would say it has left their account to go into yours but it hasnt as someone only ‘pressed the button once and not twice’ in a manner of speaking, so you need to get your bank involved where it is paid into to prove you havent received it, I have to admit as mine was a few years ago I cant remember all the details on how I managed to get them to realise this but you need to keep on at them about it, good luck
I have had the same problem,my x finally paid some of his arrears 29/6/2011 by debit card,the same day i was informed by the C.S.A that the Money would be paid into my account within 3 day’s,it’s now 7/7/11 still no money in my account so i rang them and they told me it has been paid in to-day so they have held the Money for 6 days not including the weekend.Seems to me the C.S.A. are making Money and not disclosing it,we need to get more information on this the overly long period of time i have been dealing with the C.S.A ,i feel like they have been treating me like a Mushroom as they are doing with everyone else that is using them.Something clearly needs to be done,if anyone can shed some light on how it all works that is.

Csa received a payment on the 3 rd but apparently it won’t be in my account till the 12 th or 13 th can any one tell me if this is right? It’s a post office account
