I’ve had 12 re-assessments in the last 18 months
I have had nothing but problem after problem from the CSA, I DO NOT RECEIVE ANY BENEFITS nor do I budget around receiving this ‘support’, this ‘support’ that MY children are entitled to does not ‘fund my social life’ every penny goes to my children (and thats not a lot).
The issue here is there has been 12 re-assessments within the last 18 months, 4 of these were genuine however, he of course knows how to play the system! My issue is there is an attachment of earnings why do my chidren never or very rarely receive it? I have to call them every month to check if anything is forthcoming, and when there are funds there they get stuck in the system. My ex is over £5000 (which he has failed to pay any off in the last 14 months) in arrears and once again being re assessed! The CSA really do take the p@ss I have raised complaint after complaint but to no avail.

Hi Cheryl 131, I don’t have to tell you what you already know but the CSA are absolutely useless and are probably ignoring you and/or telling you a lot of lies… The CSA prefer to deal with straighforward cases whereby the NRP is on PAYE as it’s easy to take money from them but as soon as their actual work involved (as in your case) they tend to avoid it.
The only people the CSA seem to take heed to are MPs so I would suggest you get in contact with your local MP to see if there is anything he/she can do to get the CSA moving…
Another website that is useful is NACSA as it clarifies the misunderstanding the CSA staff cause with their lies and wrong advice…
