Is the CSA an agency that supports children?

I pay the mother of my Daughter a reasonable amount.

The problem is, my daughter lives with me.

I have e-mailed, faxed & phoned them to try and get the payments reversed, but they have a highly effective tactic.

They ask extended security questions, then if you get all these correct, they say what the problem? After long, difficult conversations (in my case the phone line and accent to Belfast extends this)They say they need to transfer you, and the security/explain cycle starts again.

at the rate I am going I will pay the mother until my daughter turns 21. I have just complained and am revising for the security questions for the CSA complaint Department.

  1. Simple, apply for the Child Benefit book and when you have it open a case against your ex!!!

  2. I have to agree with Joe on this one. My daughter lived with her father until early 2009 and I applied for child benefit (which he did not contest incidentally) and when that came thru I was able to apply for CSA payments from him. If your ex is still claiming child benefit for a child that no longer lives with her, she is infact commiting fraud and a quick phone call to the child benefit helpline will stop that one in it’s tracks. Good luck!

  3. Is the CSA an agency that supports children? No!

It persecutes non resident parents financially, to keep CSA workers in jobs, pay the executives £300,000 + bonuses and lets these incompetent oafs run our lives for us!

Children are everything to do with parents and NOTHING to do with civil servants and politicians!

Note! There are no offers of mediation, because it’s a money making scam for the government!

  4. Things have taken a strange twist. I thought CSA finally going to close case as child benefit now in my name…but the lady on phone said a new complication and they need to investigate information about changes in my income??
I asked several times what this was all about, but just said that could take another 12 weeks. That would be 40 weeks my daughter is living with me but I am still paying the new NRP, how does Supporting the Child come into this!!
