I’m tired of the extra demands for money – should I get the CSA involved?

I have been paying an agreed amount to my ex wife every week & helped with extra as needed which was agreed upon too.If I decide to involve the CSA as I am getting tired of the increasing demandsfor extra, can any monies be back dated?

I have only started recently to transfer money so a record is available, for over 4 years it has been done on trust.

  1. We paid for years by direct payment to pwc (I’m a nrpp) My husband paid by bank every month ,same amount without fail but even with all these proofs of payment if the pwc wont say it was for CM the CSA will make you pay it all again ! They said we owed £8000 ! My husband had to agree to a dd or they would have gone for a DEO.We thought that we could easily prove it with our documentation but CSA not even interested in helping us ! They took 14 months to tell us the pwc had raised an issue so we still carried on paying her all this time which doesn’t count either!!(they gave us £50 consolatory payment for this!!It’s an insult really we paid her thousands over the time delay they caused. pwc said nothing to us just took the money into her bank .So be careful ……We even had to have a tribunal (CSA said no at first )but I was adamant that as we knew nothing about her unhappiness with our payments we didnt’ know to claim for the children in our household to be taken off the so called ‘arrears’ So we fought for that & got £1500 off in a court situation .A small step in the right direction .I keep hoping that something will come to light to show how dishonest she’s being but we will have paid it all back before anything happens ….over 18 months ago now We are left with hardly enough to look after ourselves after we have fed our young son.He has to come first ! Don’t want to depress you but hope you have more luck that we have had so far !
