I’m on income support – am I entitled to child support as well?
Hi im 32 years of age and im a single mum of 3 children aged 14,11, and 4. I a currently a full time carer for my 71 year old mum to which takes so much of my time i now live at mums with my 3 children.
I am also claiming benefits of esa as you can imagine money is very tight and we are just to say surviving. My youngest daughter, i get no help from her father what so ever as we split just over 2 years ago and in the whole 4 years of her life i havnt had a penny from him.
So recently as in 3 weeks ago he gets a job earning over 300 a week. I have been very patient over the years and although iwont allow overnight stays i am consistent on her having a relationship with him.
I am hoping he can come to an agreement with regards to maintanance but still i dnt think he wants to pay. I have looked into maintanance online. But im worried that ee already struggle but with me bn on income support am i entitled to anything.
As you may understand imin dyer strates can some1 give me any advise.

Yes as long as you are separated from the child or children’s father and the child or children are in full time non advanced education and under 20 then you are entitled to child support!

don’t bother asking on here call csa direct this is NOT the real csa just a site to grip about them. Im sure that all csa payments are disregarded due to the inconsistent nature of them but best to ask them direct.
Yes you are, we dont care what benefits your on same as we dont care if you work, we will take the case.
