I’m going after the CSA

I was asked to send in my payslips and bank details to the csa in october 2004 which i did.
A few weeks later all the papers came back to me with no letter or cover note. 3 months went by with out hearing anything so i phoned them up and asked what i had to pay the answer was if you have anything to pay we will let you know.
A month went by six months then 2 years then a letter demanding £17500 arrears over the last 2 years. After first laughing about an obvious mistake i took the letter to my accountant who told me my earning were £240 per week over the last 2 years and csa wanted £175 per week out of that. That left £65 per week to pay my morgage and to live on for me and my wife.
After my phone calls and letters the csa lowered my payments down to £35 per week.
OK now comes the crunch. What about the debt of £17500? The CSA said it still had to be payed saying i should have informed them of the error 2 years earlier. I said how could i have informed them if i was not told i had been assessed. The CSA said tough, i still had it to pay.
The CSA went to my accountant who confirmed my wages for the last to years. This was ignored and a court summons was issued to me with 3 weeks notice as this would mean i would not get credit for my accounts in my buissiness and ultimately put me out of work. I had to remorgage my house and pay the money. My accountant reccond the true arrears sould have been around £6000, which i would have been happy to pay as it is now i will be paying an extra £40 per week for the next 10 years to pay off a dept to the CSA.
Never mind protected earning {csa law to protect you from poverty} this was totally ignored. My chartered accouttant was ignored. The CSA bend and twist thier laws to suit themselves, then resort to threatening phone call to frieghten you any way.
I my not let this lie. I want my money back and i am coming after you csa, no matter how long it takes. See you on the phone and by letter.
I have forever to chase you.

Never Ever Give these people your bank details !!!
Youve just given the key to rob your bank account
Never pay them with your bank account-use a third party !
Never pay the by there preferred method-you need to be in control !
They are only entitled to your payslips-end of !
Dont volunteer any information to these idiots as they will use it against you
no matter what powers they claim to have
Let them work for every bit of info they need to ruin your life !!!
i agree with you about not giving bank details but in this age of computers and the access the csa has to data bases of poverbly every thing official in your life from the day you are born to the day you die the best way to deal with csa complaints is to write it down in plain english easy enough to understand by your mp so he has no dought a wrong has been done, make an appointment with him and ask him to deal with it. the csa wont listen to little people (us) but they dont like mps asking awkward questions after 19 years of csa hassle and phone calls and i am rid of them, all bar the money i am owed by them i now look forward to my weekly chats to them asking about my money undautably a csa crittin will be looking my name up right now on his computer looking at my case history not to give me my money back but as my mutterings have got his back up to find some sort of punishment to send me,proverbly some money i owe them from years ago thay can do that its a pity thay cannot be as keen to find money that the csa owe you
Your story is exactly the same as my ex Partner. Like you he was given a bill for £36,000 and said he should have notified them of a change of circumstance and becuse he didnt they still calculated his salary from a company he worked in over 5 years ago.
Simular case they ignored all his pay slips, p45, p60 and he had all the proof but it made now difference. Believe me they got their liability order so quick it was horrible and then a charging order. He has now losed his house to pay this so called debt that he did not owe.
To be honest you can fight these shits but you wont get anywhere they are a law amongst themselves and dont care about Fathers moving on and having new lives.
Cameron is harping on about Gadaffi and Human rights and yet he is no better than Gadaffi, by allowing the CSA to ride ‘rough shot’ over decent people and criminalising them!
i was paying just under 180 pounds a month for 2 children[ok happy my children] than had a break down off work for 8months [ 6 on full pay and 2 on half pay] for some reason i am now paying over 300pounds a month in arrears and my olds child is 19 years old[so in nov;dec;jan and now feb just over 1500]some one help me it kill me and my wife but no joy from the CSA
it does end or comes to its senses you just have to stick it out, what i did i phoned the csa and said i did not understand the paperwork and would it be possible to send someone to my house to help me which is what happened one to one with the csa and all the paperwork ask questions ect sort your problems i later heard if you request a home visit thay have to do it,or you can pay nacsa to deal with it ive had results from both but dont try and deal with it by yourself get help
my discription of the csa , is of a large black dog thats watching you from the shadows on a dark night ,it never goes away and the fear from it is unending about what it is about to do,this is how countless people feel in this country things need to change
The csa are there to make sure that fathers pay for their children. If these men coughed up then there wouldn’t need to be a csa would there? I’m sick of the fathers of my children trying to avoid paying me anything.
what about these woman that hav kid by another 2 fathers and get £250 a month off each of us and use child tax credits for the 2 children that live with me but are not mine ?

What mistake was made by the CSA?
Why should mothers have to work? We had the kids – that’s enough work for a lifetime. The fathers of my children should pay – simple.
Well, some people sound like scroungers and have no pride in themselves!
i was collecting £240 per week in wages the csa were taking £175 of it for 2 years is that fair ? complaints go unheard i overpayed by at least £10000 how about my money back ? csa say tough you cannot get money back from overpayments but we can go back 19 years still, i get free phone calls now so i can complain to them for years i will not let it go !
Just had a great call from the CSA asking me to pay £875 per month. And where do I get that from. I think I’ll just stop working.
They are now threatening legal action, court action bailiffs and that I may lose my house which houses my 2 children.
Any advice please.
That’s interesting to know that they have to come to your home if requested.
At this point I have a genuine reason for asking for this, however what a lovely way to completely waste their time, ask for a CSA worker to come round & ask them the most insignificant question 🙂
By the way, a CSA action day should be planned where the CSA are bombarded with applications, phone calls etc. ???
