I’m funding a legal battle to see my child but the CSA are still taking money

Hi, my name is Luke, i am currently being denied access by my ex partner to see my child, after getting a prohibited steps order against me for offensive text messages (sticks and stones) witch she was equally guilty of, after her denying me access, in response to this i have took up the legal battle witch is costing me £400 a month on average (witch i cant afford) while my ex partner gets legal aid. now csa to add insult to injury are trying to get more money out of me that i just haven’t got, if they take 15% of my wages i simply will not be able to maintain my current situation, but they are not really interested in my welfare even tho it is directly connected to my sons welfare one would of thought.

I already work 50 hours a week, what the hell do they want me to do, is it not in my sons best interest for me to keep my home, so i think im going to sell up and move to Thailand, other than being a criminal or destitute i don’t really see what choice i have, the way this country treats the working class man is a crime, itsOK saying i need to pay for my child, but what if i simply don’t have it, they don’t have an answer for that. So in a nut shell my parenting skills are not good enough but my money is, and my parenting skills may be good enough if i’m prepaid to pay £400 a month legal fees to prove it, what happened to being innocent until proven guilty, csa say i should pay and they make out i don’t care, so why the hell am i paying £400 legal fees a month to see him for if i don’t care, the truth is this country has stretched me to beyond my limits forcing me to emigrate, which judging by the current climate i would of thought it would of been in the governments best interest to try and hang on to the tax payers that are propping this country up, this country can go to hell iv done with it.

  1. the bottom line is that you will be expected to pay child maintenance for your son even though you are not currently getting access. You can ask for a re-application in respect of legal aid and include your CM as a weekly/monthly outgoing.

  2. I am very proud of you, that you are fighting Luke… I wish I was there to help you! I also have been in a situation where the state took both of my kids….. I love you… always remember that….. I miss you
