If my partner has more kids, will he pay less?
My partner has 4 children to 2 different woman! He pays a significant amount of child support. So much so that we can’t afford to live together! He works 90 hour weeks sometimes to try and earn more but the trouble is, the more he earns the more child maintenance he pays!
I have been told, if we had our own children the amount he currently pays for CSA will decrease. And, if we had a second child it would do so even more! Is this true and can you explain this in more detail?

no no no dont do it.. My husband and I had a children together 2 in total we informed CSA did it all legit thinking well we should have to pay slightly less. well we didnt the CSA took the child tax credits for my 2 children into account and took 15percent of my childrens tax credits. our payments increased noy decreased .
My husband has a child with ex and they took my kids into consideration they can’t touch tax credits- I don’t why they took yours into account but I claim tax credits but if you look on DWP pensions website its says they are not taken into account ️xx
What you need to do is have a child, pretend you are not living with him and put in a claim against him ;0)
Look for a site called child support agency ripoffs, you will get lots of useful advice on there
Why do you want kids with someone if you can afford to lie together and having four already doesn’t that set alarm bells ringing.
