In a very good position. Take the test. You need to know either way. If it’s not your child then you have a choice to either be apart of the child’s life or not.
And I think you owe it to the child to find out
Get a DNA test
You have some different options.
If you are still on speaking terms with the ex, you can undertake your own paternity test that will cost approx £100. However, this isn’t recognised in legal terms and will just give you peace of mind.
To make it fully recognised in terms of law, you’d have to go to court and get a DNA test ordered and use a court affiliated DNA testing company. This will cost over £350 but will give you more legal rights if the child proves to be yours.
CSA will do one through courts, if child is yours you have to pay for it, if not she has too
Get a DNA test done ASAP. Go through the CSA so they recognize it. It could change your life
The CSA will do a dna test for you and if your proven to be the dad yoh have to pay for the test and for the child. If your proven not to be the dad then they won’t take action xx
