I need help in complaining about the treatment I have received from the CSA
Well my story is: the CSA send me my yearly schedule, it states how much I will be paying out of my wages. I have also been informed on 15.03.13 that I have been over paying and there was someone dealing with it. How long does it take, they couldn’t answer.
I got my wage slip this week and noticed that the CSA have taken £225 more than they should according to the schedule, robbed, I rang them that day, and they could not answer why, my case worker was not available. “We’ll call you tomorrow” no surprise they didn’t call, not the 1st time this happens.
I am now looking for information on how I can see someone to help me with complaining about my bad treatment by the CSA and to get my money back. who can help?

Make an appointment with your M.P. and take all your paperwork with you.
Inform your M.P. that you are completely stressed out and consider seeking medical advice regarding the stress brought on you by CSA staff Maladministration.
Ask your M.P to refer your case to the Parliamentary Ombudsmans office (PHSO), regarding maladministration. Also ask for compensatory payments (compensation) from the CSA for the problems they have caused you and the mismanagement of your case!
Good luck!
Also request your Data Protection file. Costs £10.
Get your MP involved ,I did at least you get a direct phone number for the same caseworker and they phone you back if requested , you don’t get it all your own way but at least you get a caseworker who knows what they are doing but get your data protecton files before you complain or get your MP involved as the CSA often doctor them when a complaint goes in !!!!!!!

Always put your complaint in writing and keep copies/log of everything you send. Phoning them is pointless and a waste of time.
Use this document it is very effective http://www.facebook.com/notes/child-support-agency-corruption/what-steps-to-take/386972484732475
I had a similar problem when they sent me an altered yearly schedule despite none of my circumstances changing. I dealt with it through the post but it did take a few weeks & an incorrect payment was taken from me in the process. Do not telephone them, it’s a waste of time, do it in writing & keep copies of what you send & on what date. Ask them for a breakdown on how they work out the calculation of what you’ve to pay Di you can check for errors but I think you’ll find that it will come back with them noting a mistake. Good luck.
Ditto m8, I pulled the plug on the direct debit system and they get what I want to give them until they come to me to sort it….rant over!
You’re lucky Stevie I never even got the option of direct debit, they went straight for my salary with a deduction of earnings order! I don’t even see the money before they take it!

Richard,
The first 5 replies you have received are good advise.
Good luck and I hope you get the matter sorted out.
