I have evidence that I never missed a payment, yet I have arrears?
After paying the csa for almost ten years, never having missed a payment,my child support finished..good riddance says I. Then 4 months after, a letter arrives from them..;You owe us arrears!I phone them up and ask where the arrears come from and they tell me i will receive a letter…no letter just a deductions of pay order..
I ring for weeks and still no letter…They,re saying they did’nt receive payment on certain dates..i prove with bank statements they did and still after four months they have not sent me evidence of arrears while they deduct £115 from my wages each week…. Is this legal?

MP , LAWYER well help but also CSA rip of group that on here can help
Unfortunately ‘legal’ is not the right question. The CSA can (and usually do) do almost anything with absolute impunity, very difficult to hold them accountable. Therefore with this kind of mistake you cannot rely on them to correct it themselves, they have no interest in providing a decent, quality service, as has been shown time and time again. You will need to start the complaints process to the Chief Exec’s office yourself and take control of this as ultimately you will NOT get your own money back once you prove them wrong..
Sounds like your ex is a c**t.
