I have a feeling they’ll insist I still owe this money

November 13, 2013

hi, any advice would be greatly appreciated. back in 1999 i took on the csa as they had sent me a bill for £19,000 on Christmas eve. money which i didn’t owe as i had always paid my ex for the upkeep of my son (who is now 20)

i received help from a support group back then as well as john heppell my local mp. and after numerous letters i had it reduced to £130…some drop. myself and my ex both wrote letters to the csa stating that we didn’t want the csa collecting any money from me as i had always paid for the upkeep of my son, this was agreed and i never hear anything from them again until now,,

they have now sent me a letter stating i owe them £21,000. at the moment i have asked them that they review it straight away as i dont owe them anything. im still waiting for a reply.

i have contacted my local mp who has contacted them on by behalf with a letter of complaint. i have dealt with there incompetence and bullying in the past so have a funny feeling they are going to insist that i owe this money.

i had saved all my letters from back then, but a month ago just moved house, and came across them and threw them out, thinking i wouldnt need them any more.. should the csa still have copies of all these letters dating back over 10 years, and if they say i owe them what can i do to fight them.

many thanks

Always keep all letters it’s so important they could claim they were never sent you have to hope they have records if the letters

Even if you did have the letters to show as evidence they would just laugh in your face, burn your evidence, piss on it and use it on one of their monthly killings of an NRP dad.

My friends owed thousands for failure to apply discounts cus of other child

Death to the CSA (and hopefully a random meteor shower will take out the staff)

Michael, you can ask them for a copy of your file at a cost of £10. They will then send you everything they have on you including computer notepad files, telephone conversations they’ve had with you and copies of all letters they say they’ve sent you. (Even though they don’t send half of them) . Hope this helps.
Once you’ve finished with it you could burn it SOMEWHERE ; )

The CSA have no interest in settling disputes and providing the correct information required, it’s about making fathers poor not about listening and compromise . Expecting a professional response is too far fetched!! visit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMfrnpHL0tQ
