I hate Britain and all its stupid laws

I left my Ex when my Daughter was 9 months old, she is now 10. In these years i have received a handful of payments of £10 a fortnight and the only reason i have had any payments at all is because i spoke to my MP.

My ex has spent most of these years signing on an working, he signs on when the CSA get in touch, then signs off again. So i went to my local MP who managed to get the CSA to go back thru his benifit claims. They the asked him for his income details from the times he has not been claiming, he would not provide them so they decided he should pay £30 a week, and back dated it all. He now owes me about £6000, as soon as he found out he signed on and has stayed signed on for nearly 2 years. He lives with his girlfiend, who he has not declared, and he says he lives at a different address, so they pay his rent there and his so called landlord gives it back to him, and he works cash in hand as a plumber. They put some kind of enforcement order on him which gave them the power to send debt collectors but until he signs off they cant send them round, so he will now stay permanently on benefits to avoid payment.

The benefits agency’s should work closely with the CSA to stop people claiming benefits to get out of paying for their children. I would not mind at all if the courts would allow me to move abroad with my children like i have asked, but instead i am forced to live here, struggle financially with no help from the childrens father who rarely sees them. I would not want a penny if i could do what i want, i hate Britain and all its stupid laws, and as soon as my kids are old enough im going to be leaving this stupid country for good and taking my kids with me, and leave that idiot to scurry around claiming benifits so he does not have to pay his maintained debt from years before.

  1. You have not read this post at all. He does see his kids, but not very often, his choice!!. I have been to court to move abroad and as he has a right to see his children so i cant go, yet he does not bother, and does not help financially. And no you cant just move abroad that would be kidnap,. For the record i work full time and so does my partner, we claim no benefits.

Also to those of you who say why should you pay for your children if you don’t see them, do you not realise this is not the child’s fault its the parents, so stomp up some cash and stop being so tight. Its YOUR child who is loosing out if their mane carer is struggling financially.

  2. In my view if one parent excludes the other from the childs life the parent doing the excluding should not expect any payments. My ex has denied access for years and uses our son to play the system and extract money from the state and from me. With FULL support of CSA.
Its the kids that suffer, it is a form of child abuse.
