I had to sell my house to pay off these debts – what can I do?
I have an 18 year old living with my x wife I now have a monthly income of £1002 out of that I pay £860 in monthly bills (water, elec, mortgage, council tax etc) with the £142pm left I have to buy food and clothing for my wife and my 5 year old son how am I expected to pay £29pw to the csa plus £600 pounds of arrears ?
I had to sell my house to pay off debts my x wife left me with plus give her £17000 last year this left me with nothing after buying a small older house for my family.

welcome to my world they expect us to live on 30 pound a month for food not week and theres 5 of us and thats without any agreed arrears yet its disusting mines going to appeals and tribunals today yet again and ICE and then ombudsman they are breaking chid welfare laws with this by leaving u with a low standard of living.

Y have 5 kids if you cant afford them? Derrr
@kevlar. No one expects yo break up when they have kids. The point is the CSA are not in touch with todays harsh financial reality and attempt to fleece the NRPs whenever they can, so don’t have kids is not a very helpful comment
And if u read it properly Kevlar he hasn’t got five kids he has a five year old child who deserves a decent life too which would b possible if the csa didn’t fleece the nrp for the clothes on their backs
