I cry all the time because we can’t manage
Hi I live with my parntner and 2 children one of which is his he works gets 800 a month in pay claims working tax and I claim child tax for my children. CSA are absolutely hammering us 375 pound a month.
Its an attachment if earnings and we just can’t afford to life like this my children are suffering and I just sit and cry all the time because I know we just can’t physically manage.
We have rent tax bills and everything else I get my child tax for my children just the same as she does for hers so why should csa have there paws in that as well?

go c citizens advice n present to a magustrates court tell em u cant afford the debt thwy will point u in right direction
See you mp and use the human right act that your children have a right to a decent standard of living which the csa are denying.
Are the calculations correct? Earning £800.00 a month and they want 375.00 seems an awful lot and if csa are using deo are they collecting arrears which can be set at 40% but can be re-negotiated if you tell them your struggling.
When the new child maintenance options come into force tax credits are not included in the calculation but it’s wrong they ever were, like you said she has her full entitlement like your child should have theirs.
You sound very similar to how I was. I tried everything to make the CSA see that due to me and my partner having other children with different partners our outgoings were higher. It made no difference at all to them! They still took their money. I learned to budget everything, save vouchers, look for free days out for the summer hols and save a small amount every week for birthdays and Christmas and limit each child to a set amount. It is hard to start with but dont let it take over your life and cause depression. They way I try to think is that its not going to be forever. X
yes it all wrong they just don’t care about the other children or your out goings but child tax or family money you get for the children sould not be in it that the childrens money . it a lot of money that they are takeing of you a myh . good luck with it x
Roll your sleeves up and fight them,
1. Go and see your mp asap, explain what is happening and ask for them to help you, your mp can put pressure at the top to get this sorted.
2. Join CSA ripoffs on facebook, contact admin on there and more advice and support will be given.
3. Contact your local newspaper and see if they are willing to publish how the CSA are treating you and putting your family into hardship and poverty.
They will see you homeless unless you fight them, understand they have targets to hit, and get bonuses for squeezing nrps and their new family out of more and more money. They really couldn’t care less about you or your children.
Until everyone who is treated badly by the CSA starts to fight back nothing will ever change.

Woody I agree 100%….csa were doing exactly the same to us until I said enough is enough, at the end of the day I fought to make sure my children weren’t left without whilst my husbands kids lived like kings!! We kept on at the csa and the mp until it turned out all calculations were incorrect and arrears were zilch! It took nearly 2 years and neay broke us but we had to fight to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table!
I feel for you, so many peoples situations are brushed off! How can they ever justify this system?
You both should be rewarded for working not punished. Could he quite there job going into adult education
