I can’t believe how I’ve been treated

My story is my ex got pregnant back in 2001 I was delighted we made a home and arrangements for our child, I went along to all her antenatal classes scans and eventually the birth then less than a year later she walks out taking the child with her, as you can imagine I was shattered my girl and my son were gone then a few months later the letter comes from the CSA!

Well as i was the child’s father and a decent guy I had no arguments paying for my son’s upkeep I was allowed to see him so as far as I was concerned there was no issues. Time moves on im still paying but I find myself wondering why my son looks nothing like me, bare in mind i’m off mixed race, my origins are Jamiacan and yet my son’s skin is white he has blue eyes and blonde hair!

My family start to ask questions too well I eventually put my worries to my ex, much to my suprise she went mad berserk in fact, that set alarm bells ringing and went onto ask her to do a DNA test she refused I was gutted at this stage!

I told the CSA about my concerns they basically said “your named as the father on the birth certificate that’s it” again i was shattered I thought what can I do I have no where to turn! Well years past by i continued to ask her to do a DNA test but she continued to refuse eventually it led to me losing contact with him which again hurt me deeply!

Four months ago I got in touch with her mom we spoke and eventually she agreed that the boy looked nothing like me and it just seemed odd the way things had happend over the years, so she said she’d put it to her that this issue needed to be resolved. Well I left it at that then suddenly I had a msg from the mom saying that her daughter would finally do the DNA test, I couldn’t believe it after more than ten years of asking she’d finally do it as long as I paid for it all!

At the time I thought she’d say she then call it off at the last minute!

Thats given the build up now comes the sordid seedy part of this story, less than 24 hrs after ordering the DNA test she gets on to the CSA telling them I new from the very start that I may not be the child’s father, i only found that out because CSA called me to confirm her story, I couldn’t believe it i was shattered id never heard anything like this before except on tv shows!

Well the DNA test came back and I to this day can’t believe what the said ‘I WAS NOT THE BIOLOGICAL FATHER OF THE CHILD’!!

I again was shattered and that brings us up to date, ive spoken to the CSA they’ve told me the case will be closed and it will now be passed to there refund department and that’s just fine but and now the serious part what about me ive had my life trashed by her and the CSA, ive paid more than £8000 to her/CSA, ive been treated like a piece of trash and what do I have in return a shattered life, it just seems like I can’t get any real justice as she’s on benefits and is now disabled with MS so there no point in seek revenge as that would only hurt the child!

I Wright this in the hope that someone can tell me if I can expect a full refund of all monies paid and what about the interest on that money and what about some sort of compensation for everything I’ve been though, I just believe I deserve more I think I deserve a whole lot more!
