I can prove my wages dropped but they won’t reduce my arrears
When I left my old job and started working at my new job the csa had problems setting the deductions of earnings up with my new employer. When i went to my new job, I took a massive pay cut. Its dragged out for over a year and I’ve contacted them a numerous accessions but now I thought it was solved, but for a year of the arrears they are over charging me by £15 a week and even though i can prove my wages dropped they are saying because they don’t have a log of me calling them to say I’ve changed jobs they wont amend my payments.
I’ve tried and tried to resolve this but always come up against a brick wall, can anyone help please?

The max they can take is 40%. Anymore than this and they are breaking the rules. Don’t ring them do everything in writing.

You got 5years max to pay any money that you owe to the csa . If they take to much off you then try to appeal against it and if you still have to much off you then go self employed or have a contract for every 3months as they cant base your wages for a year as the max will be 3months and you can tell them how much you want to pay them…
