I am not happy about CSA going behind my back
I have recently been contacted by the CSA regarding payments for my son. I agreed to a payment with my ex but she has now said she wants to go through them which is ok with me.
I was contacted about a week and a half ago and i was told my case had gone to the calculation team, my ex partner has since told me they are now going through my employment to receive CSA.
She told me that the CSA have all my details from a previous claim for payments, since the last time i was given CSA my circumstances have all changed i have since had another child.
I am not happy about them going to my employer as i have just started with this company and dont really want to bother my new employer, he has no idea about my circumstances at home.
I can get the CSA anything they need to complete CSA for my son.

But she loses half the money which should go to your boy not the covement
Notify them then? Ask for the amount to be re’assessd. Tho a child at home they dnt take much off for as ur a residential parent
I thought on the new CS3 system the calculation teams were going to HMRC for gross income details.
I thought they only went direct to the employer if the NRP was deemed ‘non compliant’ and was not forthcoming with salary details himself. forcing them to go direct. Do you trust what she is telling you? Maybe she is just telling you this to hurry you along as she wants money ASAP? Does she realise that by the end of this summer she will lose a chunk of your payment as she will have to ongoingly pay a fee for using the service instead of a private agreement?
Tell the CSA about your new child in writing – and ask to be reassessed on this new information, dont do telephone calls – you have no comeback at all.
They do that alot, however you should not be ashamed of your situation, its not exactly uncommon.
