I am a non resident mother

I am a Mother and the non resident parent of my son.

My ex has my son for five nights out of seven. This is something that I did not want but through his controlling and bullying it ended up like it. I cannot afford to take my ex to the family court to see my son more often. I have two older children aged 18 & 19 I have my 12 year old son every weekend and I work full time.

My ex has four houses, many vehicles and earns three times the abount than than I do. He also receives the family allowance and has now applied for tax credits. He belongs to a golf club and goes on holiday twice a year.

I cannot understand why I will have to pay him when he clearly does not need the money. My son is well cared for by his father and has all the latest clothes, shoes video games etc. By the time my rent and bills etc are paid I am left with a measley sum to buy food and toiletries. I am unable to buy birthday presents for my family and am increasingly getting into debt. Being left with no money I am unable to enjoy any activities with my son that costs money. If the CSA take money of me this will take me well below the poverty line.

At the moment I feel like I cannot cope with life and am currently on the sick leave from work. There is a chance I might be laid off because of this and I welcome it as I would be better off on benefits. I have worked all my adult life and feel that this system is so unfair. I feel like ending it all.
