Husband wants to claim CSA but has never paid any payments to me in over 8yrs
It is not all men who are plagued by the CSA, my son has just turned 16 and has decided to go and live with his dad, needless to say I was upset but it is his choice. Over 8yrs ago my ex applied for an extra night I stated in court that it was for money, he laughed at me…a month to the day later he gained my daughters child benefit and suggested that if ever i claimed csa against he would do the same- I never did. I have never received any money in the whole time we have been divorced nor have i pursued it. I have just had a telephone call from the csa to state he is going to claim for both our children though my daughter resides with me and has contact with her dad. As he receives her child benefit he is entitled too, they have told me I will have to pay 69 pounds a week, this will spiral me into debt more as I had to increase my mortgage to pay him half the property, …I am already living into my overdraft. I to feel suicidal!!! what can I do?
So you see it is not just fathers… this man receives all benefits and drives around in a mobility car for ASTHMA!!!

I feel you and no its not fair as we all know…this scum called the csa favours heavily towards the NRP. The csa along with the PWC exist solely to ensure that the NRP NEVER has any quality of life,it will ensure the NRP suffers and has to struggle trying to make a new life and family…It absolutely DOES NOT GIVE A SHIT.
That said…..you are in a minority…75% of the crap they dish out is thrown at the fathers.

It’s truley hearbreaking to read the stories on here. The more you read and understand without letting your emotions whack you stupid, you can see that the CSA are a terrifying system that puts father and mother regardless in the sparing ring to knock nine bells out of eachother. Who wins! the CSA no one else.
This country is an open door to everyone outside it and those who are born and bread, hard working are paying for the remainder. The government who WE all voted for are destroying lives on a grand scale.
The word suicide is used by the desparate and I understand that having been through it.
