How much will my wife be entitled to?

My wife and i have recently split up. She has moved out and i am now seeing my son every Wednesday (over night) Every Friday (over night) and every OTHER Saturday (over night) This equates in total to me seeing him 2 and a half days a week which means 130 days a year. My Nett income (take home) a month is £1532.92. What is the amount my wife will be entitled to MONTHLY off of me?

Regards

Dale

  1. Do not use the CSA, come to a private arrangement.
The calculation equates to £164 maintenance a month.
15% of net income less 2/7 for shared care.

  2. assuming the salary stated is your net without there being any un-allowable deductions (union fees, payroll giving, etc) your maintenance payable would be a basic calculation of 15% of your net income less shared care of 2/7th. Your monthly liability would be £164.67.

your liability would start from the date the agency make contact with you.

  3. Not being funny but I have been stung by a private agreement in the past when someone down at then pub tells them they will get more if they go through the CSA.. Avoid at all costs.. If you are on speaking terms show her on the CSA website the maintenance calculator.. Then she will not have to go through them as once they have your case you will end up being saddled with falsified arrears..
Pay your ex by standing order – not direct debit and if you can ask her how she requires weekly or monthly as it may be a struggle for her to wait a month..

For christs sake try keep her onside..

Wilf already answered this very well what about helping the disabled man who is going to lose his house !

  5. And by the way if she goes through the CSA they will inform her she will receive more money if she stops shared care…..
