How many times can a woman keep going to the CSA?
My boyfriend ex is on his case again about CSA DNA and all that stuff. This is the 2nd time she has done it. he was with her when she got pregnant and after the 2nd scan she turned around to him and said you do know you might not be the father there are 2 other potential men it could be,by hearing this he then broke up with her.and it has been 3 years since shes had her child and she could of sorted this years ago she hasnt she had withdrawled this twice now..
How many times can she do this? and he doesnt want to do a DNA and she thinks he has to no matter what? and if he does do a DNA who pays for it? she said he has to but either way he has said hes not paying for nothing seeing as its her who wants it sorted. and if she keeps doing it can i get a restraining order or harassment on her?

If you boyfriend’s ex contacts the CSA and names him as the father of her child the CSA will contact him and will advise that he has been named, he will be offered a DNA test if he denies paternity.
If he refuses to take a DNA test then he will be considered as accepting paternity of the child and the case will be opened, an assessment will be done based on his income and he will be held liable to pa effective from the date that the CSA make contact with him.
If he takes the test and is proven to be the father of the child then an assessment will be done and he will be held liable to pay effective from the date the CSA contact him, he will also be charged for the cost of the DNA test.
If he takes the test and is proved not to be the father of the child then the case will be closed and he will not be charged for the DNA test. No further applications for the child will be accepted by the CSA if he is named as the father.
A parent with care can apply as many times as they wish and can withdraw their application as many times as they wish – unless a DNA test has proven the man named not to be the father.
