How can wrecking a family be justified by CSA?
My husband had been paying the csa by attachment of earnings until he went self employed in September his kids are grown up now so this is old debt.
We knew it needed paying but are not financially able to and plus his ex wife refused custody In 1999 even after he was granted custody on a weekend she made it so difficult that he had to stop seeing them.
Anyway he received a letter from the csa Nov time but we heard nothing after.
Yesterday the police arrested him and have taken him straight to prison! So now he can’t work and we are likely to lose our home as I’m disabled and cannot work. He has not been able to defend himself they just took him!
How is wrecking a family unit (we have 3 children) a justifiable way of getting their money?!

I know exactly how you feel,I have recently been informed that the old CSA has been disbanded,yet i still get harrassed by them,The CSA are legal robbers backed by a discredited government,this needs to be changed and quickly, a friend of mine was harrassed constantly by this shower, and eventually took his own life,keep your chin up and fight every which way you can,something has to be done. Not much help,I know,just want you to know that you’re not alone.
No person can be arrested by the police and taken straight to prison without a court appearance, unless the Government have completely done away with the Rule Of Law in this country.
Words escape me ….
