How can we bring his daughter back?
This is on behalf of my boyfriend. He came home one day to find his daughter gone, when he asked his partner and mother of their child at the time where she was she replied “oh, she’s just gone to Spain to see my parents for a week” (her parents live in Spain abroad and his daughter is 2 at this time. A week later, my boyfriend asked if his daughter was coming back yet, his partner replied “oh she’ll be away for a month now they just wanted longer with her she’ll be back after that” this went on..
And now it’s been over 3 years. In this time, he has finally managed to break away from this relationship with her that he never wanted in the first place but only stayed for their daughter. He then met me and we have been together happily for over 2 years now. The ex girlfriend to this day still lives in the UK while their daughter is living and going to school in Spain with her grandparents.
My boyfriend has not been allowed any form of contact no phone calls no letters no email exchanges nothing, but he still has to pay CSA. He certainly doesn’t mind but he wishes he could see his daughter that has been taken away from him. He is in a lot of debt and I was just wondering if he still has to pay even though he isn’t allowed to see her and hasn’t for 3 years now and has no idea where in Spain she is!
Is there anything that can be done to bring his daughter back? Or at least force them to let him speak to his child?! Someone please help a broken man.. He misses her so so much. And with regards to the 2 years he hasn’t seen his daughter, he couldn’t do anything then because he was with his ex partner and she kept manipulating him, Everytime he tried to break up with her she would say “no don’t, I’ll bring her back so we can be a happy family again” and shed not stick to her promise and drag it out till he tried again.
He would do anything for his daughter so he believed her lies for years.. As his girlfriend and knowing the pain he does through everyday from this.. I want to try and see if anythjng can be done to help him in this situation.

Maybe he don’t need to pay as his daughter is aboard but would need to double check cab. But it could be that she’s told the csa she stays with her to keep getting the csa payments.
Chb can be paid for children living elsewhere in EU. Migrant workers claim it for their families living bsck in their homeland. Court is the only way to insist mother brings child back to UK.
As awful as it is, the CSA has nothing to do with contact, in their own words ‘we’re just a collection agency’. There are certain countries that the child or the nrp can live in and CSA still has to be paid, im sure Spain is one of them. However, who do the CSA payments go to? Im pretty sure your partners ex can’t claim CSA for a child that is not in her care? Good luck.
