How can nobody do anything about this CSA theft?

June 23, 2014

CSA admitted they took £200 a month for a year by mistake but laughed at me when I said I wanted my money back.

Spent the last 5 years writing to my MP George Freeman who refuses to see me and says he cannot do anything to get my money back.

Was the money taken from my wages a mistake?

Why do the CSA know that my MP can do nothing about the theft?

CSA admitted they shouldn’t have taken it , My MP George Foreman says that with a Heavy Heart he can do nothing about the theft.
CSA say that I will never get the money back even though they have made a mistake.
They Simply refuse to refund me the over charge , In my book that is theft and my MP knows about it what does that make him guilty of ?

George Freeman you know who your constituent is why will you do nothing to support your constituent and his family ?

If they passed it on to the PWC then it is the PWC’s responsibility to pay it back.
If it was paid to the secretary of state (because the PWC was in receipt of benefits) then the DWP should refund it.
If the mistake was made because of an administrive error then you entitled to compensation.
If the mistake was because either party did not keep them informed then there is nothing that can be done.

  • FourVees says:

The mistake was an admitted overcharge , a member of Staff said that they should never have taken the money from me but then laughed at me telling me I will never get my money back.

It’s a clear example of admitted theft by a government Agency.

What can I do when they refuse to re pay after admitting they were wrong to take the money but they refuse to refund

  • Bill says:

You need to find out what the mistake was resulting in the overcharge.
Request a copy of your file from the data protection unit for a charge of £10 and go through it with a fine toothcomb.
Discover why the overcharge took place so you can establish grounds for entering a complaint.

  • FourVees says:

Been through this with a fine toothcomb , defined period of liability known and payments covered.
CSA also admit ex wife wrote to them telling them no more money was due.

So, there were two clear reasons why no money was and yet they decided there was arrears and started taking money and only stopped after a year of writing to them and my MP George Freeman.

They admitted they should never have taken the money, laughed when I asked for my money back basically saying they could do what they like and no one will stop them , they even told me that my MP would do nothing.

So, did they take the money as a deliberate mistake to raise revenue !!
