How can my ex get away with this?
My ex and I have 5 children ages from 7 to 17. They all chose to live with me, their father, because of their mother’s drinking and abuse. She said she wants nothing to do with any of them except the 7 year old but had agreed she should live with me.
Three months ago she removed her from school and took her to live with her and her new partner. I have been unable to have any contact with her since then. She has been ordered to pay £180 a month for the other children, (excluding the 17 year old as he is in work) but has now left her job voluntarily so she doesn’t have to pay.
The new calculation is £6.50 a week! Can she get away with this? She has a new partner who is supporting her.

The csa are only interested in her taxable income or benefits, who she lives with and what they earn do not matter as her partner is not responsible for your children.
The fact that the csa are even taking money from her is a surprise as she’s a woman and usually they are only interested in chasing father’s.
My advice to you is forget her, forget her money. Raise those kids yourself without her pitiful contributions because when the kids are older you can look them in the eye and say you did it all yourself and she abandoned them. She will only have them and her own conscience to answer too and if she’s as useless as you say then they will see it for themselves.
If you have custody of all but one child she can’t just snatch one and run, you probably should of called the police and dealt with that straight away. Fathers are always arrested for “kidnapping” their own children so it must work both ways.
