you cant get a penny for the last 5years it starts from when csa open there case and if he is paying now you dont need csa and only person u can get from is the dad and its not yours anyway its the kids money
Why would you want it from the grandparents ?
For starters learn to spell, get a job and maybe thjnk your questions through. The fact your asking for money from the grand parents shows the lack of ‘actual looking’ to what you can claim. Shows just how lazy some people can be to try and work the system, phone the CSA yourself and ask? Or are you looking for pointers on what to say to them rather than telling them the truth?

If you call them you be put on new rules witch will tell you cos he already paying you their is not much they can do to help as new rule try make you do it between you both , if u still wanna go though them then YOU have to pay to use them

Is it a cultural thing asking for support from grandparents ? Username isn’t English and the incorrect use of language certainly points that way ! To he fair though it would take 5 years to get through to the CSA and for them not to have a computer / technical/ telephony issue

Citizens Advise, local MP, dozens of websites, solicitors…even the local library is where you can get advise/information on CMS, it’s not difficult, just don’t be sooooo damn lazy !

Get over it!!! … Hunny first of all you won’t get any maintenance from grandparents.. It’s yours and your exs responsibility to provide for your child. 2nd get the csa phoned! They won’t give you anything from the last 5 years. Only from the day you phone. Provide them with all the info you have and your money will be backdated from the minute you ring up. I wasn’t lecturing anyone, it’s my opinion. The fact of the matter is she could of phoned the CSA and asked them instead of posting this tripe.
Can I ask your opinion on this? I had exact shared care with my ex for our two children. The CSA still made me pay £224 a month and from time to time made up arrears that I never owed. I supplied clothes for my children, school uniforms, more outings than their mother and generally paid more. Yet I still had to give her thousands a year. Is that right in any way, in your opinion?

So that’s 28 pounds a week per child… Does that sound fair? It was your choice to have 2 children and so when you decide to have a baby, automatically you decide to provide for that baby! If your providing money, you don’t then have to provide clothes and uniforms. That should be a shared thing with your ex. I can guarantee she spends more than 28 per child, per week for all the kids essentials tho and it’s not a competition where you then take the kids. What’s 28 per child? it’s nothing.

So yes I think it’s right and good on you if you’re buying the kids uniforms and stuff… But a uniform lasts a year! It’s not like you’re buying a new uniform every month. The kids mam, might spend so much on other things for the kids that she can’t take the kids out all the time. You might be in a better position than she is. She was once someone in your life, you chose to have a baby with her .. Then again! and so I wouldn’t knock her too much.

The CMS (CSA) have several months ago told me I was entitled to receive Child Maintenance for BOTH my children as I’m the primary day to day carer but not surprisingly my ex was asked by the CMS to send details and sent an outdated court order from 2011, yet failed (withheld) to provide the CMS with up to date information relevant to my application, this being the revised Court Order of March 2012 and further revised Court Order of July 2014 – this is a prosecutable offence for withholding this information from the CMS as stated on their own website.
As yet I’ve received nothing from my ex in the way of maintenance so go figure that one out Cheryl Smith and tell me men are not shafted, shit on and treated as second class by the CMS !!!

until my son started school i had shared custody and i also had to pay csa.. Now dont get me wrong im not hating on females all im saying is sometimes certain females do seem to be more interested in the money then in the child/children seeing the other parent which is so wrong.
