How can I get payments from my daughter’s father if he lives in New Zealand?
My husband moved to New Zealand April 2011 on a 2 year visa. We will be divorced in December 2013 if everything goes through. I am situated in South Africa. We have a 4 year old daughter.
When he moved to New Zealand he got a girlfriend and she recently gave birth to a baby boy.
He doesn’t respond to any of my phone calls whatsoever. He doesn’t pay maintenance at all. We agreed on the amount of R1900 ZAR per month. That is agreed on the deed of settlement as well.
What am I to do as I am in South Africa and he is hiding in New Zealand?????
Please let me know who can I contact and what information I should get.
Thank you
Yolanda

ou must be a really special sort of person, I have heard of ex’s moving out of the area to avoid nasty ex, but half way around the planet, now that does take some doing
Y dont you just forget about him and you have your life and let him have his. I wanted a kid so bring the kid up. If you cant look after your kid then give the kid to someone who can..
I have heard there is r.e.m.o. that helps enforce child maintenance across borders, not sure if this organization applies to the UK only but it may be worth finding out. If there is one in the UK, no doubt there must be an equivalent in some other countries. the fact he moved country does how very selfish this man; it is obvious he had no interest in his child.
Peter where in that message does it say SHE moved?? It says her husband moved!
nothing you have no rights. Just move on with your life.
