How can I get backdated money if it is owed to me?

My enquiry is regarding the father to my child he has never payed money for his child he currently is claiming disability.

He has his daughter in his care therefore getting benefit for her also.

I just wondered what i could receive and would it be back dated?

We parted in 2011 but never had nothing from him. Also how would i get back dated money if any was due to me?

  1. Have you made a claim to csa? If he’s on a benefit then the max you get is £5.00 a week plus £1.00 for any outstanding payments, also it does depend on what type of disability he’s on and if dwp honour the claim, which csa have told me they can do within reason . I thought if an nrp is on a benefit no arrears would have incurred?

  2. Also he gets benefits to support his daughter like I would presume you get to support yours which wouldn’t be offset and nor should it.

  3. Absolutely sums up everything this!!! Money owed to ME!!! Can you see why NRP’s are fed up. You women make me sick!!!

  4. ” paid ” not payed.
If you ” never had nothing ” that means you had something.
Arrears can only be backdated to the date of first contact by the CSA with the NRP.
If he is in receipt of a disability benefit and he has a child in his household it is unlikely that the benefits agency will consent to a deduction for child maintenance.

  6. Hey guys this girl hasn’t got a case with csa, she was just enquiring on how the system works if she were to open up a case. Her ex hasn’t done anything to help her raise their child….is that right especially if he has a child living with him, so he knows the score? She works so is not claiming any benefits and just wanted advice.

  7. Agree with Jo here.
Some mothers use the word “mine” out of context but mean “their” kids. Not all, some are just greedy money grabbers that use the kids as cash cows and Nrp as a ATM machine.

Lol @ bill. Correcting ones written English as usual. To the author, he means it’s a double negative but does anyone give a shit Bill? I think we understand what they mean..lol…Jesus…this guys a card, are you sure you posting on the correct site Bill? Maybe a site that gives help and, or teaches written English.
