Firstly you need to get over yourself, second the Csa cannot use compensation as income so your ex can spend HIS compensation money has he sees fit! I agree, all parents should provide for their children financially! However if he has been awarded a sum of money from a court in damages for an accident, this money has been awarded for him and not care for his children! And certainly not to subsidise the mothers lifestyle! Out of interest how much money do you think a child would need financially for clothes, heating, food, and sundries? Bearing in mind this would be a 50/50 split between both parents?

A mother can be on full benefits and take up to 20% of the fathers income regardless of how much he earns and still keep her full benefits! Also 20% can be taken from the father even if that makes him homeless and unable to see his children, this is these are the biggest moral crimes! That hurt not only the Father but the children too! As long as the mother can get money! Again I ask the question….exactly how much does it cost to clothe, feed, and keep warm a child on a weekly basis with a 50/50 split????

It’s 30% of net income on CSA1 and up to 40% on later schemes. Try looking after your children when you have them when you are reduced to renting a room! I know some PWC who have 2k a month coming in tax free and still want more!
It take 2 people to make a baby so should be 50 50 split however Csa decide what the absent or non resident parent should pay and is not fair Steve paid always for his son but the amount he paid every week meant the mother Didn’t have to pay for anything, how the fuck is that fair? Laura, 2k is nothing! I know of mothers getting 5k a month plus benefits! This is cos the Father has a good job! This obviously not spent on the child! I would give every penny to my kids as long as I knew they were getting the money, the same as 99% of fathers would!
