Child at 20??? Bollocks. I was working for 4 years at 20, my wife married me at nineteen, we are all allowed to drink,smoke and vote at 18 yet apparently your classed as a child til 20!!!!!(in the eyes of the government and csa if course)
It is absolutely disgraceful. A parent with care can put an 18 year old out to fend for themselves. As an adult at 18 you are old enough to have children yourself – the law in the UK says you are adult enough to have children at 16….. Something is very wrong with a system that wrecks lives and forces some (usually male) adults to keep adults.
And we wonder why we have a generation who have an over inflated sense of entitlement! I’m not ancient (37) but I was brought up that if you wanted something then you bloody worked for it! My son is 18 and still has no idea what he wants to do in life, only JUST got a part time job yet expects everything on a plate!

You can get married, vote and join the Armed Forces at 16 yet you can’t take your wife for a drink in a pub? This is a legal extortion of money!
