I feel your pain ! I’m disabled but have always had my 2 son’s 3 days a week. I didn’t pay as we agreed in court to go half and half. Then he went to CSA and stopped them from coming. I got a letter saying I had to pay £400 off £700 earnings and £65 wks tax credits. My rent and council tax cost £635 so I had nothing left ! I couldn’t even get to work despite going to my MP. I’ve had to give my wee job up so I can keep a roof over myself and my 2 older kids. It’s a very unfair system and they just make up figures on how much arrears you have to pay them. It should be shut down and a more fairer way should be worked out. I’ve only seen my boys 3 times in the last year because of them as my ex won’t give me them as he would have got more money if I was still at work. I also have a very seriously ill 23yr old that I have to care for and by not getting to see her wee brothers has made her condition worse. Disgrace !!
