He shouldn’t get away with this anymore – what should I do?

My daughter whom turns 16 next month has not seen her absent father for 14 years. I have worked to provide a living since she was months old. He has never payed a penny and works offshore.

Ive been hesitant all these years as i was threatened. I dont see how he should get away with it any more.

What steps do i take to consider going forward.

  1. if he works offshore then why are you bothering?

aren’t you golad he is offshore out of the child’s life – after all you do say he threatened you.

I’m so fed up of these twisted minds – allegations of Dv, scared for the children etc etc stop contact et5c etc – yet happy to trot off to the CSA to try and get money which means the DV abuser can come back and get information off the CSA about you?

these people stop contact for DV etc yet never use the provsion in the Act not to claim CSA because of DV.

I don’t see why you should get away with it any more?

  2. I do not agree with DV of any kind but im wondering how many claims of DV have been FALSLY made by the PWC to force a reduction in overnight stays to get more money or to stop the NRP being involved in the childs life when the PWC has a new partner….

I know some of you will say that no woman would lie about DV… well, i’ll disagree with you…. some women will do anything to get their way when money and access kids are involved… it’s called manipulating the system…..

  3. I suggest seeing a Solicitor and forget the CSA – as they wont help after all this time, find one that specialises in this area – I can advise on some, but you need full legal aid and that could be difficult if you are working. Im not sure whether you will get anywhere but well done to you to work and support your child where obviously the father is a low life.
