Four months on and I haven’t recieved a penny from my ex

I left my husband 4yrs ago due to domestic abuse and his drug habit and affairs. I lost everything because of him and his debts and had to move from my house as it was repossessed and I had to go bankrupt. I moved into a private rented house (small terraced house) with my 3 children.

I contacted CSA straight away and it took them 2yrs before I ever got a payment. I started getting £280 a month for 3 children plus £50 towards the arrears as in the 2yrs he did not pay he built up arrears of just over £3000. I received CSA for around a year and it stopped again in April this year because he got the sack and went onto JSA.

CAS advised me that I should get £5 a week from JSA but 4 months on and I have not received a penny. I rang today and they advised me that they put in a request to JSA but JSA have not paid anything and they said they can not chase JSA. They also said there has been a change of circumstances and I will be informed of these changes in a 90day turn around time. So at the moment I havent got a clue what is going on and it looks like I am not going to be receiving any money at all.

I had a breakdown this year because my husband although we are not together and he is with another women he continued to abuse me mentally and cut telephone wires outside my home, slashed my tyres and then took my car because he registered it in his name, broke into my garden and stole all garden equipment and patio furniture, police wouldnt do anything as they said I have no evidence.

This year when visiting my children at my house I was upstairs ill he stole money from my purse, the kids passports, bankbooks, gold jewellery and the new marriage certificate, yet again police wont do anything. I know he is working cash in hand plumbing work as he has been seen but again he is getting away with it. He brought a new second hand car this year worth £3500 as it was purchased from someone I know and they told me. Im sick to death of everything he is getting away with and that CSA dont do anything, why cant they repossess his car to pay off the arrears he owes me, he obviously doesnt need his car as he is telling them he is not working!

Why dont CSA ask him how he is managing to live if he is not claiming JSA anymore and says he has no money to pay CSA? Why cant they ask to look at his bank accounts and they will see money going into it for jobs he is doing! Me and my children are left to survive on £100 a week to feed, clothe pay for school trips etc etc I am also currently undergoing two court cases against him becuase he refused to give my youngest daughter back on his last contact with them, he eventually gave her back two days later and threatened to kill me, I was awarded an immediate court hearing and awarded residence and a non molestation order against him. He is contesting both and one goes to court this month and the other case in december. Life seems so unfair.
