Fobbed off by CSA for 2 years

I am extremely disappointed with the Child Support Agency, after a good 2 years I have been fobbed off left right and centre. Having been promised call backs, and after the CSA have conveniently ‘lost information’ I am so frustrated that each and every time i contact the CSA I have to repeat myself starting from the beginning which i am extremely frustated with!

I don’t feel like I am getting anywhere and have my ex partner gloating that the CSA will not ge tthe better of him. It seems extremely sad in this day and age that a gather begrudges having to pay for the upkeep of his child. I am even more disappointed that the CSA don’t seem to be able to do what they are meant to be doing!!

    I have been in the horrendous CSA system since it was first set up in the
    . early 90’s.
    It took me a long time to realise, but do not deal with the CSA by phone, one of the reasons being as you explained in your story.
    They don’t make it easy to email them either, so send all letters by recorded delivery to the complaints section and go and see your MP explaining the situation.
    Don’t give up. Its because of people like your ex that compliant “soft targets” like me are hounded non stop by the CSA and forced to pay extortionate amounts of maintenence.
