   PLEASE explain WHY you feel that Diane should not be entitled to child support from her ex!!!!!

   As a PWC & despite the fact I have not had a penny from my ex in the last 3 years I always try and see the argument from both sides…… HOWEVER comments like yours make me sick……. It is BOTH parents responsibility to PROVIDE for their children and whilst I feel for NRP’s who are currently being fleeced for 40% of their wages via a DOE I have NO sympathy for the “ABSENT” parents who will go to any lengths to AVOID paying……. It is these people that the CSA should be targeting and for those that REFUSE to comply should have their asessments handed over to the INLAND REVENUE for collection.

3. i know just how you feel, been chasing up maintenance since 1993, similar storey to you.. it makes my blood boil !!! the CSA are a waste time and space…..

4. the funds in the CSA amount to bilions, were the hell is it, sucessive goverments have failed to shake up this pothetic rabble. granted …they may do some good , but have yet to hear of a case that says so . Maybe someone has a good story to tell about the csa , ???

5. Things should improve in the future. The government clearly wants everone who can arrange their own affairs to do so without their involvemet so they can go after those 'DEADBEAT' NRP'S who don't want to contribute towards the upkeep of their children. However I feel it is quite a few years off yet!

Take no notice of brokenfather, there are many of us like you out there – unfortunately, please join the above group, its free and there are many on there who in similar situations, there is advice and support on there. I have had many special payments as well as an advance payment due to my ex (self employed) not paying what he should (and what he could) but Im still awaiting a tribunal hearing (taking 18 months for them to decide) but because I think no one has taken their case as far as I have, no one seems to know what to do!! I, along with Lisa, was on Eddie Nestor’s drivetime radio BBC London the other nite, complaining and campaigning. Hope this helps.

7. This system is ludicrous. It just brings about animosity between parents and children.

   I gave a large divorce settlement to my ex (who by the way, was the adulteress). I paid child support from day one. I have had so many serious problems with the CSA because they repeatedly target the ones who do pay (like me) and don’t bother on hard targets. £3.5 billion of monies not paid by feckless fathers and mothers.

   I was a pwc for one child. His mother did not pay any money for 2 years. I paid from day one. The only reason I got any money, from her, was because I persisted. More recently because of another mistake by the worse than useless CSA, they have dumoped £6500 of debt on to me because of their mistake. I am now being s-rewed by deo!

   My ex has had 2 large inheritances. She has been allowed to overclaim £7000 in tax credits. She used her mothers and nieces bank accounts to hide money.

   I am picking up her benefits bill at the CSA’S behest, because they and the dwp are failing to investigate her finances.

   On top of this she has held the children hostage (for money), even though I had a contact order.

   I am a responsible father who has brought a son up on my own, and paid for my non resident children. I am demonised, criminalised and treated like scum by the CSA. But if you don’t pay thats ok, you get let off. £40 million written off in N.ireland. £3.5 billion still uncollected. I feel that I should have all my money repaid, because there are more not paying, than there are paying. If that’s not discrimination. I don’t know what is?

   The ‘gravy train’ shambles known as csa/cmec, has to be shut down.

   Parents claiming benefitis should be asked to attend at the benefits office to discuss financial provison for their children, and disclose all of their finances (as in divorce, until all is disclosed)

   If the non resident parent does not appear (and this includes mothers), issue an arrest warrant, and have them put before the next available court and then bail them to a dss until financial matters and payments are resolved. If they are still evasive, seize all of their assets, where possible.

   If Politicians want to recycle benefits, by targeting the absent parent thats fine, but what they must do in the first instance is to make sure that the benefits being claimed are reasonable and justifed, and that they do not just throw money at the pwc and later realise they have overpaid them and chase down the nrp to reclaim it. That is a scandal!

   I sympathise with all those who have not received monies. However, the whole system needs scrapping and matters returned to the courts, with professional, qualified people and proper law enforcement, which includes contact issues as well as payments!

Thanks everyone for your comments, and to you brokenfather- i would hassared a guess you are also one of the millions of nrp that DO NOT PROVIDE FOR THERE CHILDREN, OR ARE UNFORTUNATLY ONE OF THE OTHER MILLIONS THAT I AM AWARE OF THAT HAVE BEEN FLEECED BY THE CSA AND HAVE BEEN LEFT WITH NOTHING TO LIVE ON.

   I PROVIDE EVERYTHING FOR MY DAUGHTER AND SHE HAS EVERYTHING SHE COULD WISH FOR AND MORE. I WORK FULL TIME AND ALWAYS WILL – IM NOT ON THE DOLE AND I PAY MY WAY, TAX, NI EVERYTHING AS I SHOULD- SO I AM SORRY IF IT TOUCHED A NERVE WITH YOU, – BUT TUFF!!!!!!

   WHY SHOULDNT SHE HAVE THE EXTRAS IN LIFE THAT UNFORTUNATLY I JUST CAN NOT PROVIDE WITH OUT WORKING MYSELF INTO THE GROUND.

   I DONT WANT HIS LIFE SAVINGS! IM NOT ASKING FOR THE EARTH! – I M ASKING FOR WHAT MY DAUGHTER IS LEAGLLY ENTILED TOO. !!!!!!!!!

9. I find it totally disgusting that the government do not have proper measures in place to collect monies owed to our children. I have made a website recently and I am trying to get as many people as possible to follow this site, leave comments about the problems they face and also help to try n advertise this so that I can get enough responses to go to my MSP with. 10. Note for BROKENFATHER…You are a PR**K & its guys like you that FORCES certain women to make decisions to NOT ALLOW their children to see their FATHER. If my Father made comments like that, I would be totally embarrassed & ashamed. You need to change your user name from BROKENFATHER & replace it with a more appropriate user name such as PATHETICFATHER.
